Karen is our newly appointed practice nurse and is here on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons and Wednesday & Friday mornings.
Sarah is our Assistant Nurse and runs Clinics on Mondays.
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial point of contact for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Where possible they will answer any questions you may have about the administrative aspects of your healthcare.
The midwives look after our expectant mums from early pregnancy to six weeks after delivery, together with one of our doctors. Routine Ante Natal clinics are by appointment on Mondays.
Patients, who are confined to their homes and need nursing assistance, may arrange through the receptionist for our Community Nursing Team to call. The hospital will normally arrange for the nurse to visit patients who have been discharged but still require some nursing.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Our health visitor runs a clinic at Bentley on the first Tuesday of each month between 13:00 - 14:00. You may contact her for advice on Tel 01420 88336.
Our dispensing team deals with the printing of prescriptions, and the dispensing of medication.
